I wish I had gotten a DW edge snare instead of an OCDP. they were priced similarly, but the OCDP has no potential for jazz style really, especially with the vents that mine has. Look other places....

well thats the thing rockit. It doesn't actually TURN the tension rods. It merely pulls up on them using leverage from how tight you tighten the brackets. Someone has to have at least TRIED it...

From first to Last has some good double bass stuff.. its like subtle accents though... its not a full out, avenged sevenfold typewhere its the main part of a fill. Its pretty good though.

Hmm practice rudiments with your feet to a metronome. And if that doesn't work, and you still feel really awkward, try adjusting the tightness of the pedals, it could make all the difference.

Guitar Center has production OCDP snares right now. I picked one up... its LOUD but it sounds SO GOOD.
