Putting the amp on a chair or table and angling it towards his ears (by putting something under it) can help him, not you of course...

You shouldn't say technique isn't important...
I think your technique should be at the level your playing and ideas require.
For example, someone who can play 1085 bpm with his hands won't be...

That's probably something he gave as an example to show people that that's possible, just using the bounce, but I don't think he'd (often) use it.

How the hell could those bolts help your tuning??
The only thing they could do is prevent the screws to go deeper (so the head gets tighter)...
Does that sound logical? The screws can only get...

Of course, when you are the drummer for a tv-show or a succesful rock band, you'll need a decent drumkit that also looks normal... For street musicians, it's a little different.

I don't wanna interrupt this interesting discussion, but is a pull-out a stroke followed by a softer stroke that just comes naturally (by using moeller, or letting it bounce)? Just like in a half...
