I thought the Trick throw off just has Off and several On positions of the same tension in case you hit it while playing so it doesn't go off completely.

I prefer to have my Toms batter and reso at the same pitch and my snare has a medium-tight reso and a tight batter.

They all sound very nice. What kind of dampening or heads do you use to get just a little bit of those overtones? I like the sound, not too dry.

Just wondering what everyone's opinion was on 1 on 1 lessons in person from a drum instructor vs. taking lessons online through a live class. Obviously only the instructor in person can correct...
