Stage Custom is NOT entry-level, they are mid-level drums. Rydeen is entry level.

She is also massaging it etc and think it...

Not a good mixture.

This in turn...

Re: Can you help identify this Yamaha snare?

Thats a pretty solid sounding answer. I am happy to clarify it with Yamaha though if you want.

I do believe mike is right. The styling and (ugly) colour do look 80's/90's. Also the RA in the...

Re: Andy Newmark

I believe it would be either Roxy Music or Bryan Ferry you are referring to in the 80s on MTV.

He said to me: "I am Yamaha's cheapest endorsee, I've had the same kit for 20 years!"

He loves...

Earlier this year I said I would be meeting Andy Newmark. Andy is a Yamaha, Zildjian, Remo and Vic Firth endorsee. He currently plays for (and numerous times in the past) Bryan Ferry...

Re: What do you guys think of the Yamaha Stage Custom?

I have a stage custom advantage too (14x5 Snare, 12 x5 Snare, 10,12,14,18 Toms and 22 Bass). They are fantastic drums, good sound, and Yamaha quality hardware.

A definite buy for a mid-range kit!
