So I'm listening to Suffocation's debut album Effigy of the Forgotten, and I forgot how friggin' SOLID Mike Smith is on it. Nothing too fancy, just solid as a rock. And probably the best blast beats...

Most of the songs on Blue Train (John Coltrane) aren't too bad either. Philly Joe does some interesting things on some of the songs, but they shouldn't be too difficult.
