They are solid, well made snare drums. The two primary reasons I don't use mine often is:

1. I already owned 2 snares that gave me the sound I grew up with, the Supraphonic, and the Acrolite.

I have been a die hard Zildjian fan since 1976. I did have a complete Sabian AA/AAX/HH setup back in the early 90's, but I came back to Zildjian by 2000.
