Re: My live playing sucks

another thing that may help is to say my drumming needs a lot of work rather than my drumming sucks. If it needs help you can work on it.

Re: Tune Bot - Worthwhile or Not?

I would offer one more bit of advice. Use it as a tool to get close. But learn to tweak with your ears. In time you will hear the sounds at each lug and put the Tune-Bot away. I have the Evans...

An Open Apology

I just received a private message from Pocket-Full-Of-Gold inquiring as to why he was banned. I have no clue other than to explain that during the past week I have banned hundreds of Spam accounts...

Re: Could This Be Our Friend Bo?

When Ringo and his All Starr band are playing, if Ringo is on the set, Greg is also playing.

Re: Could This Be Our Friend Bo?

Watching the video there are drum sounds coming over the sound when the guy in the back isn't playing. My money is on both guys playing. The toms even sound different.

Re: How to get most of my practice time!

Make a plan. Concentrate on the things you are weakest at. But do not practice anything that is incorrect. If you can't play at 220 BPM, don't practice at 220. Work your way up. Warm -up should...

Re: DW pedal on Facebook... How?

Re: Drummers Review video of new Mapex's Cherry Bomb Kit

Re: How do I tell my friend that his expensive custom handmade snare is shit?

I understand the hard / soft plan. Some trees grown under water where there is more pressure have very close growth rings. Still Fir is classified as soft wood though much harder than balsam, a...

Re: How do I tell my friend that his expensive custom handmade snare is shit?

If it is indeed Fir, then it belongs to the soft wood category. Hardwoods have leaves, and soft woods have needles like Pine, Fir and others. Maybe it is just too soft. Classic old wood but maybe...

Re: I'm thinking about staining the inside of my Pearl SSCs... Am I crazy?

Minnwax sells stain/poly in one. Its more clear than stain but does have color. That would work over the spray clear. I just used it on a table I made. You could use 0000 steel wool or a green pad...
