The design series is cheaper in price out of the two. Design is $1500 and...

I was just at guitar center and some guy brought in an old fibes acrylic snare that looked like it sat in the sun and was beaten for years. Looked like an awesome shell though. Very funny that I see...

I still haven't purchased on yet. My dad's friend offered me a deal on a Tama, but he didn't know the exact model on it because that is only his practice kit and he uses a Rodgers for everything...

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I just got done with another challenging 30 minute practice with just the metronome, later tonight I am gonna pick up the pad and play more.

Yes I record myself playing every so often, I mainly use it to see where I go wrong while playing.

Due to my school and work schedule I practice for a hour a day on the kit and I try to manage playing on the pad for 45 minutes a night.

I have also been very interested in the Gretsch Catalina Maple and I have seen some mixed feelings of it. But majority of people seem to really like the kit.

Ahahah I guess you are right! I have been looking at both new and used gear to find the best deal. Craigslist has been my best friend lately!
