a blast beat is used in metal and its like 32 notes played on the bass and then 32 on the hihat and snare, but alternating like hat snare hat etc. also you can have like flams with the hi hat and...

i know at the beginning of "Feeling This" he uses ghost notes. so it kinda works. but anyway, i think the song wouldnt be as good without all the extra stuff. i think thats what makes it a little bit...

ya i like using them for just snare drum stuff such as at school in band, but i dont like playing with them on my drumset because the white marks on cymbals

i enjoy pearts playing, and hes one of my favorite rock drummers ever. but i also enjoy his big band video on here that from his dvd. i think he has great grooves and an even betetr set

ya i can agree with the top 20 part, probably even top 10 because he does different stuff about every song instead of the smae old same old like a lot of other punk drummers. He also has great fills
