All right mate. You could go for a Tama Superstar like i did for around that money inc (very good) hardware. it's the only kit iv ever had but it sounds great to me. Unlike everything else, prices...

I bought a Tama Superstar last year with hardware for 480, can't seem to get that deal at the moment but heres the same kit with hardware for 520, the harware is really good imo.

cheers for the reccomendations guys and girls, i shall be investing in some new reading material soon as. lessons are on the horizon tho only going to be 1-2 hours per week, would this still be money...

yeah there for me, music wise i like classic rock (particularly zep) to more contempoaray rock, wouldnt mind learning some more funkier james brown type stuff too. i was thinking something covering...
