I can't figure out why all thread pages load from the bottom. So post#1 is at the very bottom... of the last page.

I think drum size dictates the configuration a lot. That, and style of music.

I was in a heavy rock style band with a 20" bass and 8, 10, 12, 14 setup. It just doesn't work live... in a studio,...

I play very large sized drums... that lay flat... and I use a 26x14" bass drum...

I just quickly reviewed this thread, but that one picture looks to have a lot of room to lower your toms to be in...

Just James - It depends on the band... Usually the drummer, But I do watch both. By example, when it's Primus is both, Queens of the Stone Age, not as much.
