Re: Help with CAD pro drum mics

The first time I was concentrating on the overheads. Once I realized those won't work with what I have right now. I started with the bass drum and worked around. Removed the RCA out cables and...

Re: Help with CAD pro drum mics

Ok thanks guys for all the tips. I'll start by hooking up electronic drums and test each input. I know the PA is producing sound fine, as I hooked up my phone to the aux in ports using same RCA to...

Re: Help with CAD pro drum mics

There isn't a headphone out. Just the RCA record out. And I have no clue what a phantom power supply is. Lol I'm a complete new when it comes to all this.

My band (country band) been together for about 3 months. We've played 2 benefit shows so far. The first one wasn't bad but the little things didn't bother me because we actually had a gig. LOL The...

Re: Drum tab?

Thanks. After thinking more about it, I figured that'd probably be easiest way to do it. I think trying to follow tabs/sheet music would probably screw me up more in the long run concentrating on...

Drum tab?

I've recently joined a cover band that plays mostly country and alittle top 40 stuff. Never been a big fan of country but live in Indiana and it's king here. I haven't read sheet music since high...

Re: Overplaying? Or not.

Playing in a cover band currently, my thoughts:
I think it depends on the song. A song like "Seven Nation Army" has a memorable drum part to most people, even the average non-musician. A song like...

I just bought a SMX Kit from MusiciansFriend with a 22" x 18" bass; 10" x 8", 12" x 9", and 14" x 11" toms. Andy from MassMusic had told me they had a 13x10 tom in stock, so I ordered it. I get a...

Re: Tell me I made the right choice.

I'd also agree that you done good. While the Visions my only have been another $250, that is double what you spend on the Exports. Plus once you add in buying new heads and what not.

Re: New Wrap or New Kit?

Thanks guys for all the responses. I found a beautiful set of Pearl SMX in Marine Blue Fade that I love, only problem is they are discounting you the Session series after this year. Which means I can...
