Re: I'm having trouble practicing

I experience this too! I sit with my band and tons of ideas bounce off like crazy! Once I'm alone on the kit I play the same boring things over and over. Its like my idea box is empty.

Maybe...

Re: Weird symptoms before a show

Interesting. I do feel nervous but its giddy nervousness. Like I cant wait to play and perform. I've been doing shows for years now so its not new to me. Pretty sure a famous drummer said that he...

Re: Pearl VBL vs Tama Superstar Hyperdrive

I actually agree with you on this! I have the X7 in poplar but it honestly sounds excellent.

I also purchased a 7 piece Concept Maple from GC Used and it was for the same price actually. So I...

Re: How do you save up for gear purchases?

I would just work and save up what ever I could, living with parents helped! Now I actually sell some of my gear to fund new purchases. That way I'm only paying $5-$25 out of pocket. Ebay is my best...

Re: PDP Concept Maple vs. DW Design Series

The Concept maple are made in Asia, not mexico. They stopped production in Mexico when they were making PDP CX, MX, and LX.

Also the pre-2009 PDP X7 is poplar wood (I know because I have one),...

Re: Good Bassist.

Most Definitely. In my drum life, I've had only two bassist I meshed instantly. Sadly I had to pick only one to be in a band with. Its a wonderful feeling!

Their playing only makes you be more...

Re: What do you look for in a company drum video?

Hmmm my thoughts would be
