the best technique is to do it all in slide-technique double strokes. you can get much more power then single strokes, you can go just as fast if not faster, and after learning it well enough, you...

i would have to go with boss tenor by gene ammons, drumming by arthur taylor, congas by ray barretto...everything is so perfect

also, its not on an album yet, but my dads band plays a song called...

ya the jazz fest is pretty cool, cept for the part where i cant get sleepy time untill 3 in the morning.

oops, i forgot one....Dave Laing of The Joe Sullivan Big Band....(Joe Sullivan is my Father...)

this guy is prob one of the top ten jazz drummers in canada, but he doesnt play in very famous...
