Alright i'll try and help out here...

Check out a drummer by the name of Mike Johnson on youtube.

He has a ton of lessons available there and it has really helped me out with the "gospel" music...

Thanks for the replies. I was unsure about the tension rod size so I figured I would go longer and be on the safe side. But now I guess I should go with the 2 1/2" long rods? This will add up to 5"...
