The stick tricks were really impressive, the sound of the drums was pretty dismal (could have been the recording) and the overall solo really did not sound good. I'd say it was on par for a 15 year...

Hey what do you guys think about practicing with metal sticks, like solid aluminum that weigh 4 ounces each. Does anyone use metal sticks?

I've been practicing double bass heel down and i feel it is much more relaxing. With playing heel up in a groove situation and not just repetetive 16th notes, i notice there is a shift in my weight...
