Re: What song are you playing on drums?

I've been learning "New Ground" by Tommy Igoe for my performance recital at Uni.

It's a calypso/songo tune featuring a drum...

It's 4 sixteenths in the right hand, followed by 4 in the left and repeated 50 times. This is...

Re: Dave Grohl

yeah he ended up drumming on the first 2 albums. he plays all instruments on the first album, and the first foo's drummer left while recording the second, so grohl drummed there as well.

Re: Dominic Howard

yeah, that can be hard for some people to listen to. it's the main critisicm i hear against the band, and it's completely justified.
i like how the sunburn beat doesn't have a bass drum on the 1....

Re: Travis Barker

yeah, but even if it won't change the music he plays in punk bands, improving his skill at the drumkit could open up other oportunities for him. i'm sure he does try to improve.
you should always...

Re: Joey Jordison

i don't think he "just got lucky". i think joey and travis put a lot of work into their drumming and their respective bands put a lot of work into their music and created something that people like.

but of course, it seems like no-one...
