In a way tv and the computer are pretty bad stimulants around bed time and they can keep your mind going far longer than you want it to.

My brother...

Double pedaling problems...

I'm sorry to burden the DW forum with yet another thread about double bass playing and technique, but I'm in quite a quandary

Ok, here's my deal. I've been playing drums on and off for ages. I...

Re: Don't Argue With Fanboys

No such thing as "the best," but there are fanboy's that's for sure.

Re: Are Metal Drummers over-rated?

ddrum Dominion

I am kind of browsing around for a new kit.

Anyone know if ddrum's dominion series is any good?
I've never bought anything from them before but a friend of mine has a signature kit ordered...

Re: Back problems from playing the gallop

Hey there JT.
I find that the gallop can be a difficult beat to use for a long period of time, a very simple thing that you can do which I did to help with my footing is go to a hardware store and...

Re: People don't like multiple mounted toms?

It really depends on what kind of music you're playing, and what's comfortable for you.
When I play something "easier" I play with one mounted tom, and move my second to a floor time position. But...

Re: Crappy Bass Drums With Triggers?

You're getting what you pay for on that...
Plus, you will need a PA / Amp for the triggers which will easily cost $600. I don't really see where you're coming from when it comes to cheaping out on...

Re: Mesh Head Question

Maybe he thinks you meant practice pads.
But for mesh heads you want to place them on your drums like you would normal heads.
