Re: How do I know if I will stick with drums? Advice please.

Like they say, honesty is the best policy. Be honest and upfront with the party that gave you the other equipment. Let them know how much you appreciate everything they have done for you. Next,...

If you want to sound like Richard Hell from the Ramones, get any drum set. 22x18 Bass, 13x10 Tom, 16x16 Floor tom with Remo Black Dot batter heads with NO resonant head on any drum - except the...

Re: Drumming in the pre digital age.

I've only been drumming during the digital age (on an actual kit, anyway), but I tend to take a very analogical approach to it. Like, yes, I do use the internet when it come to drumming, but just...

Re: Bid like a man!

I won two great snares (my Supraphonic & my Acrolite) on Ebay and I got them both for a substantially lower price than everything else listed at the time. Both snares look brand new in fact.

Re: HELP! I need a good inexpensive snare fast!

I think that you will get some serious arguments to the contrary around here. But to each his own... even if it's wrong.

Re: Gig etiquette pet peeves!

That's not Harpo, it's Sterling Holloway. He's standing next to Mike Connors (Mannix). Holloway was a character actor from the 50's & 60's. He's most notably know for being the voice of Winnie the...

Re: About to get supraphonic LM400
