alot of folks seem to feel that there's not that much difference in sound comparing the older supras with the new supras. However if there are any rubber gaskets under the lugs many remove them.

FYI the renowns are not made in the USA but in Taiwan. BUT..........nonetheless their quality is there and they do sound great. I own a set!

2) Are the Ludwig toms classic maple or accent? Classics are built in N. Carolina and are usually built to order and...

Quite simply............they kick &$&$!!!! Mine received new May 2006. 26 x 14, 14 x 12, 16 x 16 and 18 x 16. LM 402............Supraphonic snare.
