Re: Drum kit for under 500

I'm in the same situation dude. Do you need hardware as well? I know a great site that offers kits without hardware, selling a ton of money. A Mapex M Birch 5 piece without hardware on there is 388.

Re: PDP X7

The drumming magazine I read reviewed the X7 earlier in the year. Gave it a pretty good review. Should answer all your questions. Here it is:...

Re: PDP x7 kit

No they're not; they're made from poplar. Here's a good review:

Re: Gretsch Or Pearl?

If you're looking at birch kits, check out the Mapex M Birch. Or if you prefer maple, Mapex Pro M's are also good. I've heard great things. I suggest you go try out some kits in a music store and...

Re: What's the best mid-range acoustic kit?

I'd recommend anything Mapex. You get serious bang for your buck, and I think till the end of this year, a free tom with the M Birch and a free Black Panther snare with the Pro M. You just choose...

Re: best kit for 500

You can buy some seriously good drumsets as a shellpack (no hardware) and save loads. I found this website drumkitsdirect.co.uk One example: Mapex Pro M, 650 new, which in itself is a deal. Without...
