How many grips do you use while you play?

After watching JOJO MAYERŽs Secret weapons DVD, I got to realize that I use more than one grip when I play , depending on what i am doing.
I mainly use german grip, but I also switch to french...

I think I was not to clear in that part.
In case you are right handed, your left hand should either play in the snare , or in the hihat.
The way I like to play is it moving around the hihat...
