Re: Your thoughts on Intermediate Kits

3007s are AMAZING drums ...

Re: 16" Floor Tom to Bass Drum

I already had an extra ISS mount, so making my old $39,00 Pearl Export kit into a "convertible" kit seemed like a natural ...

The JG-16 seemed just the ticket, and I works well as it is, but...

Re: Tama Starclassics

Don't know who this seller is (Southaven is a suburb of Memphis) but they always seem to have cool gear for sale ...

This picture is from my famous (or infamous as the case may be) $39.99 Pearl Export kit. It shows the water damage in the floor tom,...

Re: 22 x 20 Bass Drum

I have both a 16x22 and a 14x22 ... my personal fave is the 14" deep, quick and punchy!

I had a SONOR 17.5x20 for a time and I liked it well enough but even so 16x20 would have been more to my...

This is what I use...

Re: Antiquing Those Darn Shiny Mapex Badges

I always thought Premier did a nice job of making the rather large badge on their Modern Classic series more subdued ...

Re: Thanks, but "PLEASE" Don't Touch My Gear

Re: The urge to strip down (not like that!)

How about taking a standard 4 piece and making it pull double duty ...

The kit started life as a 2002 5 piece Pearl Export, (that I paid 39.99 for) pared down to a 4 piece.
However, needing an...
