moved the hi hat to the right

I have trouble with my sticks always hitting eachother when playing crossover. So I raised the hihat stand as high as it could go, but the bottom of the hihat stick still hits the snare stick....

Nicko holds the left stick upside down also. I tried playing like that, it does give more power in the left hand, but it feels way to weird for me to play like that always. Oh I hope i'm not looking...

listen to Dream theater for some ideas. For example the intro to "pull me under". Portnoy does alot of jungle grooves, if thats what your talking about.

thanx for the ideas and link, i'm going to check that out now. Oh and the Phil Rudd (ac/dc) style is just playing the typical rock beat thru every song with limited fills.

John Bonham is an amazing drummer. There is nothing I can say that hasnt been said in this thread. I am just recently getting into Zep, but I am slowly molding my style after Bonham.
