Cheers for the replys guys. I got a remo CS off a friend today to see how it sounds with it, i'm going to use the clear head on my other snare which should produce the perfect sound im after on that...

Yeah but the chance to grab this kit from america for about $1200 aus incl postage is a big saving since the cheapest new one in australia is $3100 and it's a great colour i love. I do like the look...

Anyone have any feedback on what pdp drums or more specifically LX exotic kits are like?

Might be changing from my pearl exports and was wondering if this was a nice move.

Pacific PDP Exotic Kurillian set, any good?

What are these kits like? I'm thinking of grabbing one for roughly $600AUSD + postage so it'd work out at roughly $700 AUSD and i thought this was pretty damn cheap.

tried a bit of tape? or maybe tunning down a bit. i had a ringing issue with a snare of mine a while ago and put a bit of tape on the edge which sorted things out.

The buzzing is comming form the actual toms, it sounds like it must be one or more of the springs in the lugs as CBPEAVEY sujested. ...
