I do plan on gigging a lot and also recording quite a bit in the future. I am looking for a punchy, warm, Bonham type of sound also.

Well it's old to me. I've had it for about three years and the owner before me had it for 7 to 8 years. I'd consider that old.

No problem! lol I have a 8x14 DW as my main drum, just looking around for a cheapish drum that sounds good for the music i play.

Im thinking of buying some new Reso heads and rims. I am leaning towards the Evans G1 or Genera Reso. Is there any kind of hoops out there that will make the drum sound better?

I am very inexperienced in the tuning area, even though i have been playing for over 10 years. Non of my teachers ever taught me how to tune or anything like that. I do watch a lot of videos online...

No, i bought the kit used a few years ago, and when i bought it it sounded great, but by me putting new heads on i kind of lost that good sound.

I am very interested in buying a birch snare and i came across this one. Does anyone have one? I'd love some input! Kind of getting tired of my steel snare and am looking for a different sound.
