I've heard that too. When I was in the service, I used superglue on the blisters on my feet. The new guys would apply the glue to said blister, then put their socks on. When they took their sock off...

Super Glue!! Just leave it out of open wounds.
AND, don't pick up your sticks for a few minutes after application!

Right on! Also, the drums themselves have many surfaces, i.e. hi-hat to 8in tom. Playing on many surfaces help out by training your hands to play on different surfaces (sorry for stupid sentence).

Yep. Hand control. If it helps, find where the drums are comfortable, then practice going around the kit....slow at first. It helps build muscle memory
