Ringo used a 5 x 14 OBP Jazzfest with the Beatles not a Supraphonic 400. Now Ludwig did give him a gold plated Supersensitive but still not a Supraphonic 400 Ludaloy shell snare drum.

I wear a pork pie hat ( think Breaking Bad) , or sometimes a lightweight fedora, especially for outdoor gigs. Being folically challenged it is a must to wear a hat in the Sun .

I own a Legacy Classic kit ( see picture) and have played lots of Classic Maples and my take on the two is as follows :

Legacy Classic - warmer than CM, very much the same sound as your 71 kit....
