Re: something to help slipping sticks!

I had the same problem. I sweat a lot on my hands and I was always dropping sticks live. The Pro-Mark Naturals really help. No lacqer. Like Just Drums said Vater's Nudes might also help.

Re: New badges and finishes from dw.

I like the Twisted Walnut, but.. these finishes are too complicated for my taste. I like simple and plain finishes. Even though the Twisted Walnut isn't simple I like it.

Re: DW DRUMS - thoughts?

I've never owned a DW and I'm not planning on buying one. It's not because they suck, buddy, they are awesome. When my band went recording a few songs, the studio had a DW kit. I don't remember wich...

Re: Got any tips for building up speed on the kicker?

Wow, that's great thanks. Wouldn't it also work to just play some singlekicker songs with my left foot? (I'm right handed)

Re: Your first time playing a show

You know, they'll probably feel the same way about you. They probably worry that you'll hear if they make mistakes.
And most of the time they just know (at least I do) what it feels like. So they...

Re: Favorite drum or cymbal of your kit!

Wow, you got a lot of stuff.

But I'm really into buying a Byzance ride, I see you have one, I ask you what does it sound like? What genres would it sound good for. I seriously want one.

Re: Question about depth

I'm not too sure about it, but I'm pretty sure the 16"x16" is heavier and probably sounds longer.
That's what I've been told anyways.

Re: What was your last gig?

It was at a public park on June 17th(Independence day of Iceland) and there were quite a few people there. We played Master of Puppets - Metallica, Hysteria - Muse and more. It was fun.
