Cymbal / Drum Head Clock!

Hi dudes

I want to make a clock using the hands and mechanism from a cheap clock from a supermarket or whatever, and then use a 14" cymbal or drum head as the face.

Personally I think I'd go for Mapex. My first kit was a Premier Cabria (got it years ago though so it's not like the new XPK and APK's.) I find Premier to be much like Stagg, at least their cheaper...

22x16 or 18 kick

8, 10. 12, 14 and 16 toms
