I saw Steely Dan not long ago when Keith Carlock was using Yamaha Phoenix drums and to me they sounded awesome but now it seems he switched to Gretsch for some reason.

I had knee problems before and a very well respected orthopedic doc told me the best thing for the knees is riding a bike (or a stationary).

It not only works the muscles it will repair the knee...

Thats a cool looking snare and I bet it sounds sweet.
I am definitely gonna remove the gaskets to get the best sound but it also looks better imho without them too.

Thanks for the advice I remember reading some posts here on that matter.

For some strange reason the pic on MF website doesn't show the gaskets but I assume all new Supra's have them?

There is a cool free drum app for Ipod Touch called the Pocket drum.
You can play a drum kit with you fingers.

I believe its available for Iphone also.

I have been wanting a Ludwig snare for some time and ordered a new one from MF and with 10% off I think its an excellent buy.

Its gonna sound great with my Yamaha Tour Customs.

They put on an excellent show here not long ago. I like keiths drumming (he's amazing to watch) and his Yamaha Phoenix drums look awesome.

(Of course being a stagehand I get to see all the shows...

I use my Pearl H-2000 Eliminator 2 legger on carpet without even employing the spurs and it don't budge.
I use all Pearl hardware exclusively with my Yammy Tour Customs and like it a lot.
