Segmented (Honduran) Mahogany 14"x6.5" Snare?

So... what do you think of a 14"x6.5", segmented shell, mahogany snare drum?
What type of characteristics would this drum have?
What 'sound' would it embody?
How might it compare to a 14"x6.5"...

Try walking, marching or dancing to the click. That will make it tangible.

Then add the counting.

Definitely start simple and work your way up from a good lock.

I had this problem for years. Sometimes I still get nervous or distracted depending on who's watching. I read all the books, took all the advice, did the meditations, etc. etc... nothing really...

Two posts confirm that Bill is playing a BRASS snare... yet the snare in the picture and also the snare I've seen him play live looks like a BRONZE snare because of its gold color... also a poster...
