Thanks for the reply! That's true, I paid for the insurance so I should be covered. Now I have to decide if I wanna replace my drums now or wait.

I recently bought a Yamaha Stage Custom from Guitar Center and also got 2 years of pro coverage for it. I also just realized there is a small crack on the inside of the bass drum shell...

yea put some muffling on that if not it'll resonate in a way that makes it not sound like a bass drum. with smaller bass drums,obv higher tunings work as for whether the batter should be higher etc...

schlagwerk 2 in 1 cajons like the one in my display picture are really good and are cheaper than the more conventional(and IMO worser sounding) meinl/L cajons. may be hard to get your hands on one...
