Do you ever plan on gigging with this bass drum? If so, take that into careful consideration. I have a 22x20 and i hate it. None of my 22" cases are big enough and hauling it around is such a pain...

Check out the Carolina Drumworks website, all of his snares are that nice!!

I have one and it is THE gem of my arsenal of 40 snares! Easily the best price to quality ratio out there.

I bought a kit recently. I'm still waiting on the 24" bass drum and the 10" tom. What i've got so far is a 13x9 tom and 16x16 floor tom. I haven't gotten a chance to play them yet since the kit...

That's most of what i play. I have used mostly 14x6.5 maple snares for the country i'm doing. I have the snare tuned medium with the snares loose for a fatter sound and helps fatten up the brush...

I'm a "crank the reso" type of guy. Especially on my snares. Then to fatten up the snare sound, i loosen the wires. I usually always have luck finding the sound i want with a really tight reso.
