Does anyone play any natural wood finish kits? Like a Gretsch Catalina or something of the sort? How do they sound?

Eh besides the natural wood.... I prefer a bass thats large enough to be heard, but light enough to just take around. As for toms, fusion or standard would work. For about a grand what'd be good?

Oh ok thanks. As far as refinishing there's no need. It's just my practice kit. I basically won't use them for much else... So there's no need for a rewrap.
