If you can find one used, but in good condition, go for the tama silverstar. All maple and all birch shells, great intermediate kit, even if you are a beginner.

Looks like a very nice kit. Probably has a responsive kick with it being quite shallow. Never heard of the company, but just go and try it out and see how you like it. Good luck my man

Same thing with me. I put it on a snare stand, then there is no resonance at all. Take it off, put if on cymbal stand, and it resonates perfectly fine. I think im just gunna stick with the mounts.

Yeah, definetly go for slide technique, it is so much more comfortable, espicially if your heel up.
