Re: Bands with two drummers

A great example of this is Frank Zappa's live record "Roxy & Elsewhere". On this record you have Chester Thompson and Ralph Humphrey. Two amazing drummers. Unfortunately I can't find any links to the...

Taye Studio Maple Wood Hoop Snare

I found one of these snares marked down from 750 to 300. Just wondering if anybody here uses/has used one of these snares. The dealer is a bit of a drive from me and I haven't had the time to go...

Re: Dw exotic / Yamaha HexRack

@BGH - Yeah I've compared it to a lot of other racks. Things are majorly over-priced here, I'm afraid. I was in the States about three years ago and I swear every music store I entered I almost...

Re: Dw exotic / Yamaha HexRack

You have all been extremely helpful. Thanks so much!

Here's an L-Arm I have found from the same seller:

It's a 1/2" Rack fitting so I think that...

Re: Dw exotic / Yamaha HexRack

Here I go again with more nonsense.

I just got the answer to my question (in case anyone is reading this in the future it may be helpful). All one has to do is get different L-Rods. The Hex clamps...

Re: Dw exotic / Yamaha HexRack

All in all I guess I'd be better off going with a Pearl/Gibraltar rack. They seem to be more versatile from what I've read.

Re: Dw exotic / Yamaha HexRack

That is seriously appreciated alparrot. Thanks a million. I've no real way to check this stuff out in front of me as there are literally no decent stores anywhere nearby. Thanks a million for the...

Re: HELP! Buying used Pearl Export kit - how much should I pay?

I could be wrong but if you look at the hi-hat in the picture it almost looks like the butt end of the "K" symbol. If these Hi-Hats are Zildjian K then they are worth as much or even more than the...

Re: Dw exotic / Yamaha HexRack

Just realised that the Hexrack has 4 L-Rod arms. That sorts out hanging the toms. The only issue would be adding extra clamps. There are Hex clamps available from other manufacturers. I don't think...

Re: Dw exotic / Yamaha HexRack

Cheers Naigewron,

Yeah it's a bit confusing because I've never had a rack of my own. I'm getting the rack from a German wholesaler (Thomann). Here's the link:

Dw exotic / Yamaha HexRack

Hello everyone,

This is my first time posting on this fantastic site. Just after investing in some pretty decent gear (in my opinion) and I have a few question. I hope I can get some help.

The...
