If your going to go with a Sonor High end.. I would highly recommend the delite series
if you just want to go with a high end custom.. i would look into custom companies... sonor can get really...

funny that you mention that, i saw one of these kits the other day and i was wondering the same thing. I was thinking that they are similar to, if not the same as the 3005 series.

I prefer the Delites only because my experience is with the original maple customs not the absolutes and the shells are thicker and heavier than the Delites. However the MCA's have thinner shells...

I have recently switched from Yamaha maple customs (Not absolutes) to Delites i must say i like the delites alot better.

yes they are 4 ply with reinforcement ring. and ya they are both nice sets :)
