Re: 14" 16" or 16" 18"

i'd definately go with 14 + 16
14 is (obviously) easier to tune than an 18 and it will be easier to tune to lead after the 12 however if tuning isn't a problem for you then you could easily pull off...

Re: help.......i need to develop my speed

use a metronome and increase the speed by 1 every day. You'll find that if you practice every day you'll eventually be really fast. Easy.

Re: What to focus first??

You can do a ton of things with tempo.
I'd say tempo but it's good to do basic beats and rudiments with tempo.
You shouldn't be focusing though!
Go crazy, do a bit of everything!

Re: How Easy Would This Be?

i actually find that 12" works really well as a (hanging) floor tom. Depends how you tune it. All the sizes you have chosen are good but it depends on how you tune and what sound you want. ;)

If you're thinking of buying it from a shop you should definitely try out the kit AND OTHERS because you can't go spending 2700 dolls on something without try out other products with the same...
