Re: Snare buZZZZZZ and recording

I run into snare buzz a lot. it seems more prevalent on deep snares tuned high. You can try to tune it out by messing with the ten inch tom but you can only go so far before you lose the intervals.

Re: Gretsch USA Custom 14x6.5 Cast Aluminum

It looks the same as the DW. This drum is cast steel. Very bright and very heavy. One of the few drums I use a double ply head on. This shell came out of Taiwan and I suspect the others do too. If DW...

Re: Musician vs Artist

LOL yeah, I think of artists as a singer songwriters. Being a drummer is being a musician for sure but thinking of your self as an artist might be a stretch.

Maybe so at the first tier level.

I had a rivet on...

Re: Did recording yourself make you a better player, and how?

If you are new to recording here's a guide to using EQ and compression.

Re: Did recording yourself make you a better player, and how?

Another option would be the Yamaha EA10. It records audio and video using your i phone and allows you to post directly to You tube. Retails around $500.
