Re: Help id'ing 1970's Ludwig kit

Thank you!
The inlays are still there, just painted over. I may try to strip the paint later but for now I'm not too worried about it.

Re: Anyone on here watch The Voice?

I often find myself much more interested in his drumming than the singer performing. The whole band is very good.

Apparently everyone else thought so too, she didn't advance.

Re: Anyone on here watch The Voice?

Kat and Cole are both very good! I usually don't watch singing competition shows, so I don't know how good the talent normally is. But there are quite a few people that have impressed me from what...

Just messing with you. On a serious note, these kind of things have happened to me in the past and it's gotten out of control a couple times. Add an attractive female lead singer into the mix and...

Re: It always amazes me when....

Anyone on here watch The Voice?

A girl that I play with here in Louisville, KY is in the top 20. She's on Christina Aguilera's team and is performing tonight. Her name is Olivia Henken. Please check her out, she's a great singer!

Re: Gig/Venue Review....

Sounds like a nightmare. Personally I would never set foot in that place again, let alone play a gig for free.

Re: Help id'ing 1970's Ludwig kit

Update:

Badges have two pointed edges. No serial numbers on badges. Could this date them to an even earlier year? 1972?
Shells are 3-ply.

Bought some Motsenbockers today and will be trying to...
