Re: Fastest Double Bass Player?

Ambassador of Pain by Kataklysm. Very fast double bass..faster than 94 hours. Jordan Mancino is awesome though! I have their Frail Worlds Collapse and Shadows are Security. Great Albums!

Re: JOHN BONHAM

Man, why you getting so angry over this? Oh and by the way..I don't think Jeff Ocheltree is a hack. There has to be some good in him if he's Bonzo's tech. Wouldn't you agree?

Back during Zeppelins time they were considered heavy metal..So I would go with John Bonham but if not him...Chris Adler by far!

Re: Keith Moon

Heck No!!! lol....Bonham at one point did have a double bass setup, but he hated it with a passion.

He learned to roll his right foot so good because he was listening to Vanilla Fudge one day...

Re: Keith Moon

Bonham had an extremly heavy foot but also very fast. No one can match his right foot speed. He can keep up his bass roll forever with a great amount of speed.

Re: Keith Moon

If Moon's foot is that fast, that must makes Bonham's as fast as a Minigun!! lol.

Re: Travis Barker

I honestly used to like Blink 182...but some of my friends have just got into them so much. It just makes me sick. Travis Barker is a good drummer..but maybe just a little over-rated....like saying...

Re: why do i lean back w/ double bass?

I usually play a little bent over sometimes playing heel up on double kicks. I never really lean back though. Either straight up or bent over.

Re: bonham fill

At first, I never knew how he did it. Then one day I kept on trying different patterns until it sounded just like bonzo's.
First you hit the snare and bass drum then move your left hand to the rack...

Re: Peart in Concert!

I saw the drum solo he did a while back on tv and it was sweet. Very creative, but just not as much as Peart.

Re: Lars Ulrich

I also agree with Superlow. Whose really would be the right drummer for Metallica? He fits the band perfectly IMO. Don't hate Lars just cause he plays with Metallica and you don't.

Re: Chad Smith. Like? Dislike? come in.

I like Chad Smith. Flea and him are a perfect bass-drummer pair. He knows how to flow thru the song.
