Thanks everyone for the responses, yeah I'm reaaally leaning towards the 24. I love the big boomy sound and I can't tweak that out of a 22. So, I'm just pretty much down to depth now, I'm thinking...

If you save up a few extra bucks and want to pay $1000.00 for a snare. Go with a Brady snare. They're amazing. Check out their website and see the cats who have used them....

I have a DW kit also, I have your standard 22 x 18 virgin kick, 10 x 8 tom, 12 x 9, and 14x ? suspended floor tom, and 16 x ? suspended floor tom. I must say I really don't like DW snares though....

I'd say if you're going for looks go with SJC. from what I've seen, wow they make some dope looking kits. But, Truth also make great looking drums. I've never heard a truth kit but I have heard a SJC...

I would highly recommend The Tama Starclassic Bubinga/Birch kits. They're great kits for the price. Hope this helps.
