Watching Thomas Lang play, for me, builds up two feelings: inspiration and self-hatred. I mean, how does somebody get that good? Just looking at him play, it's the face of discipline.

The people I'm referring to are experienced studio drummers, who, by choice, decide to stay out of view.

I know of no-name drummers who are as good as, if not better, than Dave Weckl. Natural ability is key, but it is also dependent upon lots of experience and practice.

Well, what's to say? He's a fantastic drummer, who, could probably be considered one of the best drummers today. I'll narrow it down to one word: amazing.
