Haven't heard them but I know he has them. I live half an hour away from him so I don't know how they sound. The sizes, finish, and price seem right.

How far (driving hours) are you from the border? I live in the Hamilton/Brantford area (Ontario) which is about 2 hours one way and we have a mailbox in the Falls on the US side. I order stuff there...

Yeah I think i'm going to pass. Get a set of Mexican DW's or get a set of American Ludwigs (Keystone/Classic Maple) not sure which will have the better quality.

I second this. I've seen two kit's he's re-wrapped. A Slingerland in Vintage White Pearl and a 60's Ludwig Downbeat kit re-wrapped in a Vintage Black Oyster.


He actually lives in my hometown....

I was also looking at the Tama Artwood Custom, Ludwig Vistalite and DW Eco-X snares. Maybe get them all in a 5.5X14. Now that you suggest the Hammered Brass maybe i'll get the 5.5X14 Ludwig Hammered...

I wouldn't say I hate Pearl but theres something about that company that doesn't agree with me. They make great sounding drums and hardware but theres something and i'm not sure what it is.
