Re: Post your Zoom Q3 recordings :)

I must say your love of the Zoom Q3 borders on the unnatural Andy ; )
'Tis a noble device indeed however- definitely makes recording E-drums as easy as possible (video and audio all recorded...

Re: I've learned so much here.

I notice you're the first one to comment in the "Your Playing" section a lot of the time (and always positive/encouaging)- those guys should be thanking you!
And yes , like the doctor said- you're...

Anyone else ever "split the kit"?

I've seen many a thread extolling the virtues of downsizing and the "less is more" approach- you may consider me a convert.
However I find myself in something of a unique position (or so I believe)...

1. You make the point...

Re: Former MEGADETH Members Nick Menza, James LoMenzo Cover METALLICA Motorbreath

I've been enjoying Nick's Megadeth drum covers lately so this cover was a bit of a surprise (trying to "drum up" some publicity for his upcoming book perhaps)?
Looking forward to hearing about the...

Re: Bad Auditions

It sounds to me like you're jumping the gun a bit here mate.
I'm sure you did play great and everything went smoothly but why shouldn't a band hold out for a while in case a better drummer comes...

Re: Doing some drum covers outside!

Re: Musicians Say streaming Music will Leave them Broke.

Going back to your other post- are we to infer from this that the YouTube videos you will release in the future will be 30-45 seconds only and then direct you to buy the entire song on iTunes?...

I must confess it was strange to see an extreme metal drummer doing this beat but Derek is a very well rounded player as we all know.
I'm still having...

Quick question for you rhythm experts:
Whilst attending a Derek Roddy clinic he briefly mentioned (and played) something called the "flat tyre" (single snare hit, followed by a single bass...
