In my experience, the heads will dent easily if they are tensioned reallly low, and/or the tilt angle of the drum is so steep, that the very top of the tip acually digs into the head.

I used a Rotozip, made a template with a Compass first, penciled onto the shell. The mic stand is the one with the offset weighted block as a base, and I f I centered the hole, it would have lifted...

Dunno who Lars is, but AVH has been known to use a Tama rosewood snare on occasion. I think Balance was recorded with a peavy kit...ya know, the one that looks like it came from the Boeing factory.

Yup, Scott Rockenfield left Tama when Joe Hibbs bailed. The only names off the top of me head, which haved stuck with their companies is Billy Cobham, Steve Gadd, and Steve Smith.

That is what is good about them. They take up minimal space, and they tear down, and store very easily. The best part, you can use headphones. I would hit up Ebay or CL before buying new at GetHard...
