I was also still struggling with...

Re: Thinking about starting private lessons. Looking for some motivation

Re: Cleaning materials

Re: Drum Kit Chandelier

Wow...my first reaction is awe..."What an amazing and beautiful piece of art - where can I get one?"

My second thought is disgust..."What a waste of good drums and a Zildjin! That cymbal better...

Re: Why do folks use "handles" on a musician forum instead of their real name?

I'm pretty sure that I'll never be famous, and highly doubt that there will be a need to get my name out there, so to speak.

I also am an "un-fan" of FB. I used to like it when it was a cool way...

Re: Ridiculously Ignorant Newbie Questions

I would love to, but it isn't compatible with my phone. Its actually the first one I tried to download. I like to say that I don't have a smart phone, I have a relatively intelligent phone.

Re: Check out what I scored today.

Awesome score, congrats! I have heard a couple of great deal stories in the last few days...maybe there should be a thread about "your best find ever..."

Re: What does your kit say about your "drum nerdiness"?

Re: Advice for a Dad...

I totally agree. I can remember telling my parents I wanted to learn how to play the piano when I was young, but once I started lessons they wouldn't let me quit. They finally gave in after a year of...

Re: I'm a human drum machine

Had to laugh....those are the EXACT beats I have spent the last three days trying to master. The book even said ...oh, let me go get it so I can quote it....(pause)

"The next four beat patterns...

Re: Question about moving my kit around

No need to apologize. :) My husband has to be the most musically talented person that doesn't know how to play an instrument, but he was gung ho when I mentioned I wanted to learn how to play the...

Re: What does your kit say about your "drum nerdiness"?

Being a very new drummer (and I use that term lightly, I haven't earned it yet) my kit sits at a big fat zero...maybe even into negative numbers. (I'm thinking that having a crash/ride combo cymbal...
