Funk Piece!
I'm looking of a Funk Chart with a play-a-long to audition with. I'm looking for a piece with a structure, but with somewhat of "freedom", if that makes sense. Does anyone know a piece or a book...

Cymbal angle because of weight?!
On my 22 K dark medium Ride...for some reason..it always fall at the same angle..no matter wat stand i use. for example...if i try to put the K on the cymbal to face me..it will spin into the other...

i always wear shoes..i usually wear Vans slip ons..just b/c they're broken in and they feel light. i got dw 5000 pedals. and i play heel up almost all the time.

move out..or uhm...isolate your walls? ..u could buy them ear plugs..or buy mute for ur drums...or put towels on ur drum so they wound be loud..or u can get an electronic kit..ect.alot of things...

that's interesting, i've never heard of anyone playing snare off with the snares really tight to make it sound like it's on. I'm going to listen to Tool more to check it out.
