Re: travis barker playing country
I'm actually a fan of Travis, but...you can't base his so called 'musical diversity' on this video :)...
If it was some kind of jazz groove/solo, i would've bought it. But i didn't really think...

I think the new cd is really good...
except for a few songs that aren't really songs, more fill ups :s

Re: Lars Ulrich
Not really, sorry...
His A customs sound really great. Maybe he should get some bigger ones, but his seem to be doing fine. It's not like you can't hear them above anything else.

Re: Mike Portnoy
Yeah, sure, but i didn't say that there's anything wrong with having a big kit.
I'm just saying that it shouldn't be boring, playing on a 5 piece.

I think Lars is pretty mediocre. He gets the job done, and that's what's most important.

Re: Mike Portnoy
For me (and a lot of other drummers), a five piece doesn't get boring , because there are so many possibilities with it. You don't have to have a 20 piece kit to make great music.
But if you look...

Re: Chad Smith
Well they have grown up too :)
It's normal that as they get older, they would want to try out a different approach to music. And i really like the Chili's nowadays, they still have great songs.
